Program Description:

The university has eight thousand full-time students, the second largest of its kind in Bavaria. The business management faculty numbers 2,200 full-time students. Founded in 1823 under the direction of the eminent physicist Ohm, GSO now maintains more than sixty partnerships with foreign universities. The GSO campus is situated in a pleasant green area of Nürnberg (Nuremberg) very close to the city center.  The campus also offers some cultural programs for students.  More information about these programs can be found on their website.

Nürnberg has a lot to offer: a historic town with a romantic atmosphere, a rich cultural life, and picturesque surroundings, which are well worth visiting. You will immediately feel at home here, for hospitality is more than just a word in Nürnberg.

Nürnberg is the second largest city in Bavaria, and the fourteenth largest city in Germany. Particularly after the EU's eastern expansion, the city has benefited from its central location in the European economic area. With a population of 500,000, Nürnberg is the economic, service and cultural center of Northern Bavaria, and the greater Nürnberg metropolitan area comprises about 3.5 million people.  More info about the area can be found here.
