Program Description:

Leeds Beckett University's origins can be traced back as far as 1824. Currently, Leeds Beckett University has thirty-six thousand students from many parts of the world. The University offers a range of undergraduate and post-graduate courses across four faculties - the Faculty of Arts, Environment & Technology, Faculty of Business & Law, Carnegie Faculty, and the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences. Leeds Beckett has two main campuses, one in the city center and one in Headingley, just outside of it. Attending Leeds Beckett means that you will be part of one of the largest and most popular universities in the UK.

Leeds is a fun city with lots to explore, from theaters and music to museums and galleries. The city boasts a multitude of cultures and displays them throughout the year with international celebrations such as Chinese New Year, Diwali, and Christkindlmarkt. Students will find this friendly atmosphere not lacking in spunk and entertainment with shopping, parks and cultural activities.

A variety of courses in English are available for students studying at Leeds Beckett. To find out if courses are available in your major you can check the following website for their available courses.  Please contact the education abroad advisor for this program with any further questions about courses.

University housing is available for students coming to study at Leeds Beckett. The rooms are described as flat-style and are comparable to on campus housing in the U.S. Some buildings have bathrooms en-suite, others offer community style.
