Program Description:

SUMMER PROGRAM

IUP students are able to apply to participate in this Japanese language and culture program at the University of Miyazaki. This year's program runs from July 9 through July 29 and offers students the opportunity to learn and practice Japanese Language while living in the culture day in and day out. The program fee of 100,000 Yen (~$900 depending on conversion rate) will be paid directly to the University of Miyazaki in cash upon arrival.  The only charge paid to IUP will be the $375 study abroad charge which can be paid on your application page.

COURSEWORK

The Japanese language, Japanese language practice, and Japanese culture classes are designed for students at any Japanese level. In addition to language training the program enables students to deepen their understanding of Japan by experiencing traditional culture such as tea ceremony and taking part in visits to archaeological sites and other places of interest.
