UNIVERSITY OF WORCESTER
The university - a friendly, bustling community with approximately 9,500 students - is a single, self-contained campus, surrounded by extensive playing fields and recreational facilities. University of Worcester is the fastest growing University in the UK with applications rising a full 100% in the last 5 years.
It is small enough to be friendly, but large enough to offer a wide variety of attractions, including a magnificent cathedral, an eighteenth-century guide hall, landscaped parks, and river walks. The county of Worcestershire is steeped in tradition and folklore, and village life continues within the many hamlets surrounding the city. In Worcester, the old sits comfortably with the new, and the city, like the surrounding towns, boasts modern shopping centers, specialty shops, restaurants, theaters, leisure facilities, and traditional English pubs.
This program running from July 12-16 comes out of the Instititue for Health and Society at the University of Worcester and consists of the following workshops.
Community development July 13-15
Peace building and conflict resoulution July 16,17,20
