Ganesha University of Education is one of three public state universities in Bali. Located near the north shore of Bali in Singaraja, Ganesah has a student population comparable in size to IUP, this institution will be a good fit for IUP students interested in experiencing Indonesian culture.
Founded in 1955, Ganesha offers academic programs in seven different faculties (Listed in the courswork section below).
Located on the north coast of Bali, Singaraja is close to the beach and various eco-tourism attractions. Students are also encouraged to visit local temples the museum, and take in the old colonial atmosphere of the area. To get around while abroad students may be interested in buying a bike.
Economics and Business, Language and Arts, Educational Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Natural Science, Sports and Health, Engineering and Vocation. With all of their courses taught in English, IUP students can find transferable courses for nearly any major. This campus also offers an intensive Indonesian language and culture program, a lab Hotel for tourism programs, and a K-12 lab school for teachers. Campus housing is available to students, located 2 km from campus with comfortable amenities including internet access.
Though there is no language requirement there are very few courses offered in English.
