The city of Puebla takes great pride in its many museums, its numerous local fairs and festivals, religious processions, civic parade shows, and musical events held during the day. Puebla, located in central Mexico, is the capital of Puebla State. It is noted for the José Luis Bello y Gonzále Museum of Art, a sixteenth-century cathedral, and an eighteenth-century theater, believed to be the oldest in North America. The community, established in 1532, is one of the oldest European settlements in Mexico.
Courses are available in Spanish, business, international relations, anthropology, and hotel and restaurant management. UDLA also offers summer programs in Language Immersion and culture. More information about the summer programs can be found on their website.
A Spanish placement exam will be administered to determine the participant's level and course load.
